Something not working?
Most problems have one of these answers.
Click the taaawk icon in the browser toolbar, or reload the call tab. Pages opened before you installed taaawk need a reload once.
When you start recording, pick the call tab and tick "Share tab audio". Without that tick, taaawk only hears your microphone.
Click the lock icon in the address bar, allow the microphone for this site, and press record again.
Open the cheatsheet (Alt + X), press "Change" next to the shortcut, then press Alt and a new key. "Reset shortcuts" restores the defaults.
Check that the call is playing sound in the tab and that "Share tab audio" was ticked. Speakers in the same room are only split when you record in mic-only mode.
Your monthly allowance is spent. Top up in your account, or wait for the next period.
Too many people are recording at once today. Try again tomorrow; your data is not affected.
